Axios Launches Free Online ITIL V3 Assessment to Drive IT Best Practice

Axios Systems, the world’s leading IT service Management (ITSM) company, today launches a free online ITIL® V3 assessment in a bid to help organisations to drive IT Best Practice and further align IT with the business. This web-based assessment enables IT departments to see how their Service Management levels measure-up by completing a quick 10 minute questionnaire.

The questions, spanning the ITIL® Service Lifecycle; Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement, allow an organisation to establish a view of its current performance and proximity to the ITIL® framework.

The assessment provides an easy-to-read management report to highlight gaps in an organisations’ service provision. The analysis identifies key areas for improvement and provides recommendations to assist with tackling these areas. It also shows whether an organisation is ready to adopt a stronger, business aligned approach to service delivery in accordance with a V3 focussed approach. It is recommended that this assessment is taken by a number of employees within any one company to obtain a comprehensive and 360 degree view of the existing service provision. This report can then be taken to key decision-makers as the foundation for discussions to support and justify Service Improvement projects.

This assessment can be carried out for a particular process of concern or for multiple processes to gain a deeper understanding of the gaps within the chosen process area(s).
